Travel & Photography
I enjoy traveling and taking photographs, especially of places and moments that feel different from everyday life.
One of my favorite parts of traveling is meeting people I would otherwise never have had the chance to meet. Sharing unfamiliar food with fellow travelers, exchanging stories about where we have been, and hearing about places I have yet to visit often become some of the most memorable parts of a trip.
Bali
Bali had long been one of the places I wanted to visit at least once in my life.
What I enjoyed most was its relaxed rhythm. I could surf in the morning, try Balinese food at a local restaurant for lunch, and spend the rest of the day exploring the coast, forests, and quieter parts of the island.
The sunsets remain particularly memorable to me—the waves, the people enjoying the beach, and the unhurried atmosphere made the island feel far removed from everyday life.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a city I remember most vividly at night.
During the hot daytime, I often found myself escaping into malls, restaurants, and cafés, watching the energy of the city from a little distance. Once the heat faded, I enjoyed walking through different neighborhoods and exploring the city almost without a destination.
The contrast between daytime Hong Kong and its streets after dark was one of the things I found most fascinating. Familiar places could suddenly feel completely different under the lights of the city.
Singapore
Singapore is a place I have visited several times, and some of my favorite memories there involve the people I met along the way.
On more than one occasion, I ended up sharing a beer and satay with Korean travelers I had only just met, talking about the trips we had already taken and making plans for places to visit next.
I also visited Singapore for the Formula 1 race with friends, which showed me a much louder and more energetic side of the city. Later, I enjoyed exploring some of Singapore’s quieter cocktail bars, where the atmosphere felt almost entirely different from the crowds surrounding the race.
For me, travel is not only about seeing new places. It is also about collecting small encounters, conversations, and scenes that would be difficult to experience in ordinary life.
